Yee-up. And that's why you chew three pieces at a time...lol
Lol SO much flavour.
That was a great little romp! Really got me in a spooky mood. Hope to see more in the future. :)
Well will admit that's the first rap I've heard about getting probed by an alien, aside from maybe one guy on here somewhere. I thought it was great fun. Good job.
Well made, but MAJOR copyright breaker
Game-wise, the game is well made and I love being able to draw diagonal paths. On the downside it kinda also makes some levels too easy. The graphics are fine. They represent Minecraft well, especially with the pick that breaks down bonus blocks (moves). And I love that the music is lowered when I'm playing. As someone with sensitive hearing, I usually tend to turn off music because it's too loud.
But then we come to the major issue, which is what made me drop the rating: Copyright. Mojang/Microsoft's name isn't anywhere on here, the are no credits for me to even see if they even gave their blessing. I would let some of this slide, HOWEVER; because app has in-app purchases, with none of the money even going to Mojang/Microsoft, I really have to call foul and deduct points.
It's like playing a knock-off chinese game: Can be good, but you will feel dirty and upset for not playing the official thing. Not going on my favs. Sorry.
Fun short game if you don't mind hand cramps and carpal tunnel.
I do like the Gameboy style of it and the colors and graphics are very fitting for it. I also live the music, although it reminds me more of C64. Then again, that is just me.
I kinda agree with some that I wish it were longer, but I'm glad it isn't because of the controls. Shooting and changing directions of shooting is fine, but the movements needs to be smoother. Having to press one square at a time is tiring on the hand and I would hate to think of doing it were it a full game.
It would have great potential as a stand-alone if the walking control was fixed and if it were longer. May be something to consider in the future. Still glad I played it.
Thank you, I am still new to this kinda of style game.. I'm used to Topdown and some platformer, so it was a huge challenge (hence the shortness)
I thought the controls kinda sucked too, but I'm learning some new control schemes. I am glad you liked it for the most part, I was afraid it wasn't going to survive the night like most games here.. So I'm glad! I will start learning new control schemes and maybe even edit this game with new setup. :D
This really encourages me. ~ Kevin
Under appreciated, but not very excited for a demo.
I may be one of the few, but I actually don't mind hotspots and still frames with small bits of animation. It reminds me more of reading porn comics, but with some action to them. And the 3D is fine. Not much to complain about there.
Nonetheless, I really didn't get much with this game, even for a demo. While it is intriguing to have the water torture element, the guy doing oral underwater was just too out there. Unless he has gills, there's no way that's possible. If it had just been him using his sweet sweet tongue for torture, I think I would have given this the extra star. And when trying to shoot the guy at the end, I didn't even know if I was hitting him. There should have been some sort of animation or sound, even if I don't hit him in the chest.
Demos are fine. They help to entice a player to go play the full game or watch the whole movie, etc. But with this case, I think I'll pass.
Love the sound of this
It definitely sounds a little disjointed, but in a good way. You mentioned Batman, who, at one point for the movies, had Tim Burton as a director. And this song reminds me of one of Burton's more christmas-y works: Nightmare Before Christmas. A little polish and you could think it was from the movie.
Thanks for your feedback :)
Dead on Spongebob!
Aside from the unexpected content (Makes me not regret not eatting macdonalds anymore...lol), the impression of spongebob was dead-on. The other voice I wasn't sure who it was, sounding like a mix between Plankton and Peter Griffith. Many stars to you though.
Why thank you!
Kinda gives off this 60's or 70's vibe actually. I like it.
thanks man. Its the hair cut probably ?
We're all mad here, Alice. 8D
Picture itself is great. As for it being for the series, I'm kinda neutral. It definitely looks more 'animated' than the previous style, but the original designs also have a certain charm to them. Still a fan either way. Could we say you're 'shaping' up?...lol. *Is shot*
Hey man, appreciate your response! I agree, there is a certain charm to the simplicity of the sketch-style that I did before. I think I may simplify some elements of this instead of how it looks above. I was thinking of having the background look as if it's been sketched with a faint overlay of lined paper.
