Commando Emulated

That is basically what this is which is a one point loss from me. It has the graphics and music from the game when on C64 which I love but it is so slow! It's playable but it lacks the speed of the original port which made this game a bit harder back in the day.

Something suspicious

This is definitely a relation to Frozen Candy so it does make me suspicious as to why avox is not sponsoring this unless it had to go to another company.

As for the game itself. It's Frozen Candy with extra. Graphics are great, music is fine, and it plays as it should. Only thing, which I can agree with others, is that it seems to lag. Great to find this for the holidays but I may see myself going more to Frozen Candy.

I was hoping to see this one soon. I played it on your website and had loads of fun with it. The marriage theme is one I've seen a lot with your games but I think here and with "Luke" they truly fit. Hope to see more games soon.

The artwork is fantastic, the music is nice and I do like having the option to turn the objects. Needless to say though, it could improve in some areas.

For example, the items don't duplicate, which does kinda restrict some creativity when designing the room. I was hoping to have more than one picture frame but couldn't. The selection is big though so there are still many combinations.

Also, I do think that it could use with maybe the option to use a grid-lock system of sorts. I have no issues without it, but there are some people that want everything to line up just right.

Overall, wonderful job and do hope to see more from you and your sister.

An interesting but physically painful play on words.

It's a very interesting plot I must say. Two bits of data trying to survive while the user soon sends them to their doom, although in a rather painful way. Deletion for them and carpal tunnel and seizures for the user.

I love the concept, especially for a clicky game, but the flashing color really hurt the eyes. The moving buttons and clones were good and its my own stubbornness that eventually hurt my hand. Those with more patience would probably have more enjoyment with it, but the concept and music, which is brilliant by the way, is enough for me to warrant a 3.5 out of 5

Quite Nostalgic.

While I grew up more on a C64 rather than a zxspectrum, it did remind me of some games I played when I was younger. You captured the very essence aside from some music. A small loop could have added a little to it. Overall though, nice, simple, and fun for such a small game.

I've always been a Commodore guy as well, but the Speccy's style suits me better since I suck at drawing and I find working with just a handful of colors easier. =)
The same applies to music: I can't write a single line of it. Maybe next time I'll try with Autotracker, since I agree on the damage done by absolute silence.
In the end, though, I'm really glad you liked the game. =D

It isn't often that one can make a 2d game scary, but dang it, you did. The concept reminds me of the Weeping Angels and to imagine those in a tight corridor is nightmarish enough. With the atmosphere and music and dark colors, it is an amazing experience, and not an easy one either, which is not a bad thing.

Sometimes I imagine playing this game in first person. I think I'd find it unplayably scary.

I wanted to wait until I had the game finished before I gave this a review. Simply put, it's a cute monster of a game. The graphics are bright, the character is adorable, and the music is so calm yet poppy at the same time. Minni is a great little mascot.

However, under its cuteness, it is a game that will make you ragequit at least once, I guarantee some of you. The difficulty is a good one though and you will come back to see if maybe, with a few tries, you can beat all 50 levels. New obstacles are introduced is a well-paced manner and you get used to them once you progress. For what it is, there is nothing that I would give this game except a 5/5.

I think my only complaint was that I wanted to play more. I strongly urge you to make a sequel for this and, if possible, allow it to have a level editor and the ability to share levels. I would also suggest maybe making a level select screen as opposed to flipping through the levels.

TheSpydog responds:

Great review! I think calling it a "cute monster of a game" perfectly fits what I was aiming for. :) Really glad you enjoyed it! I considered putting a level editor in this game with a sharing feature, but it was a more difficult task than I imagined! Same with the level select screen. But if I do make a sequel, I will certainly keep those suggestions in mind! Thanks!

Too bad you've already done Justin Beiber. XD Maybe One Direction could use some treatment from Pigsaw

It gives me a rather pikmen feel to it, with having swarms fighting for you. I like the music and the graphics and I think the characters are adorable. I think what I didn't like though was having to use the WASD keys to move and charge. I would have preferred holding down the left mouse button as my fingers wouldn't have gotten so tired.

Overall, a great game but not if you're someone that can tap keys for long periods of time. I do hope to see an update/sequel to this.

Still a blammer and protector, but have now tried making my own games. Oh boy...
