I gave it a four because out of the snakes and ladders games I've seen on the site, it's the only one that fulfills what I want: Just a basic game of snakes and ladders. Maybe the AI needs some tweaks, and as someone that has hearing issues, maybe an option for just sound only without the music would be nice, but other than that, it works good. Thank you!

Well made, but MAJOR copyright breaker

Game-wise, the game is well made and I love being able to draw diagonal paths. On the downside it kinda also makes some levels too easy. The graphics are fine. They represent Minecraft well, especially with the pick that breaks down bonus blocks (moves). And I love that the music is lowered when I'm playing. As someone with sensitive hearing, I usually tend to turn off music because it's too loud.

But then we come to the major issue, which is what made me drop the rating: Copyright. Mojang/Microsoft's name isn't anywhere on here, the are no credits for me to even see if they even gave their blessing. I would let some of this slide, HOWEVER; because app has in-app purchases, with none of the money even going to Mojang/Microsoft, I really have to call foul and deduct points.

It's like playing a knock-off chinese game: Can be good, but you will feel dirty and upset for not playing the official thing. Not going on my favs. Sorry.

Fun short game if you don't mind hand cramps and carpal tunnel.

I do like the Gameboy style of it and the colors and graphics are very fitting for it. I also live the music, although it reminds me more of C64. Then again, that is just me.

I kinda agree with some that I wish it were longer, but I'm glad it isn't because of the controls. Shooting and changing directions of shooting is fine, but the movements needs to be smoother. Having to press one square at a time is tiring on the hand and I would hate to think of doing it were it a full game.

It would have great potential as a stand-alone if the walking control was fixed and if it were longer. May be something to consider in the future. Still glad I played it.

Thank you, I am still new to this kinda of style game.. I'm used to Topdown and some platformer, so it was a huge challenge (hence the shortness)

I thought the controls kinda sucked too, but I'm learning some new control schemes. I am glad you liked it for the most part, I was afraid it wasn't going to survive the night like most games here.. So I'm glad! I will start learning new control schemes and maybe even edit this game with new setup. :D

This really encourages me. ~ Kevin

Awesome as always

I always love your games and this definitely deserves the Daily Feature award.

The music is fun, although I will admit I play without as that is how I play these types of games usually. The final song though is phenomenal and if it is available anywhere, please do share the link!

The graphics are very different to me, as I guess I am just so used to the usual really large eyed cartoon characters that are usually done. Were I someone though that probably only played a couple games and then this one, I think they would probably be really into the change.

And finally the scenario is really cute and fitting of the season. It is all about getting together and helping our fellow man, but when gingerbread cookies are offered, you'd better deliver.

Merry Christmas CarmelGames and many hopes for the new year!

Catchy title, bland game

I really wanted to give this game a far chance, since my computer is older and my browser tends to be a bugger, but this is just not a fun game.

The sprites were enjoyable and the premise of a supernatural killer is intriguing, but that was about all I can praise it for.

The main thing that turned me away was, not the freezing glitch, although that played a major part of it, but the fast forward button. Under normal speed, the dialogue is so slow I can make and eat a sandwich while waiting for the next person to be killed, making me so bored that I press the ff button. On high speed though, it's like trying to take a lecture with that professor in college that had one too many coffees at the office and had to pick up flowers for his forgotten anniversary right after. There's no good medium for me. A simple fix would have been to incorporate click-to-progress dialogue. I'm not a speed reader but I'm not a turtle either.

Another thing for me was not having a mute feature. It may be nitpicking, but when it comes to games I need to watch for details on, I like to have the option to mute the music. And no, just muting my speakers is no excuse.

Overall, Proxy is a premise I would love to see again, but definitely in a much more polished form. The graphics are quaint, the idea of Proxy is amazing, but with a dialogue system that is either too slow or too fast, music that blares in my headphones that I cannot mute on the game itself, and the freezing my computer, this is not a game I recommend.

A great relaxing game.

Has it come to this? That we play games with no challenge except time? Well if so, I like this one. Great game for when doing homework and the like and it is exciting seeing the world evolve. I do wish there was a clicker option, but still, for these type of games, you made a good one.

Now this is a demo! Had I the funds, I'd probably try to get it.

You gave enough content that I can really play with this and see what the game is like, while, understandably, keeping some things locked. The art is amazing, and it's a great way to get kids, and even adults, learning how to spell. Good luck getting greenlit and should I ever get the dang money, hopefully I can get the full version. Sadly, things like food, healthcare, and bills have to come first.

Super Hyper Ultra Mega Fast Extreme Fun Time Madness in the Fingers!

XD Oh god this was fun. The graphics were unique and the rush of trying to figure out what I had to do was awesome. I lost over and over but they really did put a smile to my face. You and the students better have gotten A's for this work.

Thanks a lot, dude! We just wanted to make a fun game first and foremost, so I'm glad you enjoyed it. We did this through a club, but it would've been nice to get a grade for it XD

Cute graphics but lacking in substance.

I loved Bomboozle 2. My mom of all people actually introduced me to it through facebook before I found it on newgrounds. When I saw this one today, I was very excited and began to play a few rounds of regular play.

I love the artstyle. While the second one was sleek, this one does fit more of the artsy theme that these games have always had and I love the animations with the blobs now.

The sound is good. I personally don't play music when I do puzzle games, but I am happy you didn't completely mute the sound.

What didn't allow me to give a full on 5 though was how lacking the magic system seems now. I loved the variety of powers and collecting colors to clear screens, set off whole bombs, or even flip the board. Not that the new bomb powers are useless. They're fine for this installment, but with them being the only powers available, it seems gearing much more to younger audiences as opposed to general gamers.

I am quite sure this will be a hit and I will definitely be playing it, but when I get the urge for bomboozle, I'll probably be falling more to the second pat of the series.

Familiar art style and great story.

The character art and story kinda reminds me of Carmel Games' works. Were you ever part of the same group?

Aside from that though, it stands great on its own and I'm always happy to add another adventure game to my favorites.

Still a blammer and protector, but have now tried making my own games. Oh boy...
